One of the key issues we are addressing in ECO-Qube is the bridge between the data center infrastructure and the IT. For this we are implementing the Environmental Data Agent (EDA) that was developed as an open-source tool and bring it to live in three pilot data centers.

Because of the EDA and the availability of all real-time measures from energy-, cooling- and IT systems, new optimization strategies to improve efficiency become possible, which we explore as part of the project.
